Spring in Texas is wonderful. The early spring rains give way to fields of Bluebonnets, Indian Paintbrushes, and Buttercups.
I was out shooting photos of a new listing in Wylie, Texas the other afternoon. It’s a pretty home located on a huge creek lot and the back of the lot was alive with spring color. I wanted to frame in the home with the wild flowers, so I worked my way down towards the creek.
As I knelt in the grass, I noted tiny grasshoppers, honey bees, and a praying mantis busy working in the flowers. I stopped what I was doing and put a longer lens on my Nikon so I could capture some of the color and wildlife.
Sometimes it pays to stop and admire nature’s beauty.
